“Super Borovets” will be an elite destination

At a meeting of the chairman’s counsel of Samokov municipality was presented the activity of “Rila Samokov 2004” AD company so far. The presentation was made by the managing director of “Equest” Georgi Krumov. The British found is a shareholder of 50% in “Borovets Investment” AD, which holds the majority package in the company, created to realize “Super Borovets” project.  Serious marketing researches for each core, the tourist market and the future development opportunities have been made so far. The presentation consists of  substantial information on the researches been done as well as for the changes that will be made of the old plan in connection with the new requirements of the tourist market and the ecological norms.
The part of the project which will be realized by the company is divided between 6 cores. The destination which will be the closet one to the town of Samokov embraces 3 of the cores.

• “Borovets 1100” will be the centre of the project. In this part will be constructed: zone with streets and shops, entertainment places, apartments, a small Mall, 4-5 star hotel in which there will be, conference hall, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sports centre, base station with a big parking.
• Core “Pashenitsa 1” includes the north-western part of “Low Borovets”. This product will be aimed towards families with kids and there will be lots of amenities. Aqua Park, holiday village, shops will be built in this part.
• “Pashenitsa 2” is in the higher part of the core. Here will be constructed high-quality luxury villas, restaurants, sport and SPA centers.
• “Banderata” will offer comfort and family coziness with the building of a small village for families with kids, 4-star hotel, retail facilities around the lift station.
• “Byalata polyana” is of higher interest due to it’s good locality and the amazing views. Here will be built a hotel with 40 rooms, country club, golf club, a restaurant. Besides golf village there will be many other amenities.
• At “Gvardeyska polyana” will be constructed a 5-star hotel and small places for public meetings.

The project started with the construction of a parking lot at the first station of the cabin lift which will start from the lowest core and will go to the high part of the mountain. The construction was stopped for while because a change in the building had to be done. In order to serve the whole core the parking lot has to be bigger.
In connection with the realization of the project serious studies of the infrastructure needed have been done also since without the construction of the infrastructure necessary the implementation of the project is impossible.
An auction for supplier of lift has been announced. It is expected for its building to start at the beginning of the next building season and to be finished in 1 year.
