Russians are looking for luxury properties in Bulgaria02.09.2008
Russian citizens are searching mainly for luxury holiday apartments and villas in Bulgaria. They are interested in quality properties located in the prestigious areas of the big cities also. However the number of the Russian buyers can’t compensate the draw of the Irish and the British clients off the Bulgarian property market. The reason is that the variety of buyers in Bulgaria extended – now there is an interest from Scandinavian countries and the former socialists republics, mostly Romania as well as rich Arabian buyers. The settling of the market in the big cities will lead to increasing of the interest of Russians who have decided to purchase holiday properties in Bulgaria. Only for 2 hours by plane and the Bulgarian Black sea coast with the clean beaches, low prices and good service is ready to make you and your wallet happy, is written in the Russian magazine Prian.ru in an article regarding the real estate market in Bulgaria.Although according to experts there is a double increase in the price of new residential properties in our country, the prices remain among the lowest ones in Europe. Properties’ prices at the Black Sea coast are the lowest ones among the countries with developed infrastructure. The prices are starting from 850 euro per sq.m., as for the apartments, situated on the coast are about 1500 euro per sq.m, writes the magazine. Luxury properties go up to 4000 euro per sq.m – price levels which hasn’t been reached in Moscow a long time. The greatest interest is still towards the Black Sea coast – Sunny Beach, Golden sands, Varna, Bourgas. The risk of overbuilding though gains interest in the smaller villages with wild beaches in the Northern area of coast such as Krapets, DurankulakThe Southern part of the Black Sea coast is appealing with the milder climate and the pure nature. The proximity to Strandja attracts potential hunters. The investor interest is re-directing from the well-known summer and winter resorts towards not so developed areas. The mineral springs are becoming quite popular as most of them as still no developed in Bulgaria.Source: Monitor.bg
