Borovets Gardens is to be built in the old, administrative centre of Borovets, on a plot of 30 000 sq. m. The project boasts a strategic location – 400 metres away from the existing Gondola Lift Station, close to the junction of two principal roads: one connecting the capital Sofia with Borovets and the other leading to the second biggest city in Bulgaria-Plovdiv. Borovets Gardens will be situated in the centre of the Super Borovets project – one of the most ambitious investment projects on the territory of Bulgaria. The loading station of a new chair lift, situated only 40 metres away from the future location of Borovets Gardens, is to be completed during the very first phase of the mega project.
The apartments in Borovets Gardens have wonderful views of the mountain and the surrounding nature. There are five different sections which interconnect with one another. BOROVETS Borovets has developed into a modern, high - class ski resort of Alpine type with luxury hotels, restaurants, discos, shops and a wide choice of pistes and lifts. It provides excellent conditions for a vast array of winter sports and activities: skiing (night skiing is also available), ski jumping, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ski-dooing and biathlon. The night life in the resort is lively, full of fun and entertainment.
The slopes of Borovets have permanent snow cover from December to April. Borovets is famous for its pristine mountain air with a lovely scent of pine woods. There are ski runs for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers, designed with international markings and multilingual signs. They are located in three different regions. The cross-country, the cross-country tuition and the biathlon tracks are barely 2 km away from the centre of the resort. The ski jumping tracks, serviced by a chair lift, are 75 m and 50 m long. Borovets boasts a well - organised lift system, including a Gondola lift station.
New ski tracks and facilities are being developed. The impressive Super Borovets project has already started. Its goal is to transform Borovets into the biggest ski resort on the Balkan Peninsula with a modern infrastructure network, a huge variety of services, sports facilities and fun activities. It provides for the construction of 37 ski runs with a total length of over 83 thousand metres, a total of 22 000 metres of ski-running tracks, eighteen ski lifts, transporting 37 000 people per hour.
Interesting places to go If you are a guest of Borovets, however not a skier, you should visit (with an experienced mountaineer) the following charming places in Rila – Mt. Maliovitsa and Mt. Musala. You could also try horse-back riding or you could go fishing. A visit to the Rila Lakes is a must - the serenity of the places and the marvellous landscapes will captivate you. We would also certainly recommend the world famous Rila Monastery (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) or the busy city of Sofia for sightseeing or shopping.
